Rudimental “Not Giving In” (dir. Josh Cole)

This remarkable video for UK electronic band Rudimental tells the story of two brothers in the shanty towns of Manila, Phillipines. It’s based around the life of B-Boy Mouse who escaped poverty to become a breakdancing champion and his older brother who wasn’t so lucky. The inspiring story is reminiscent of slum dramas like City of God and Slumdog Millionaire, and director Josh Cole’s camera work and cinematography is some of the best I’ve seen all year. Excellent video all around.
