Tenacious D “Rise of the Fenix” (dir. Daniels)

The insanely talented (and busy) directing duo DANIELS have debuted their newest promo clip for Tenacious D‘s new single “Rise of the Fenix” and it’s perhaps their most ambitious and over-the-top yet. It starts off with Jack Black and Kyle Glass indulging in their typical Game-of-Thrones style epic-ness with monk robes and samurai sword-guitars and such, but takes a crazy, hilarious left-turn around the 1-minute mark when all those fancy SFX and green screens begin to fall apart (literally, at times).
